Lewing makes music when he isn't making the internet.

A long awaited arrival as a Lab Beat supplier comes in the unexpected and delightful form of two very lazy, summery compositions.

Remember Four Tet? Way back when that was amazingly fresh, Lewing put together these recordings, featuring a rare appearance by Gemma who supplies a somewhat melancholy ode to time well-wasted. There is also something wonderfully reminiscent of Icarus on 'Prerd70' where the percussion forms a glitchy marriage with some plinky guitar harmonics.

Gemma (also to be found on Lolita by Master Eveleigh) features on these recordings among a number of other (uncredited) collaborations with many Burwell-based producers that have since achieved greater recognition, but are too shy to be named. This is after all one truly inbred production.

With serious art for a cover by Sophia Shuvalova, this release is worth lusting after, from many angles.
